Best Greyhound News and Info on the Net

Where can you get the best information about greyhound racing in the US? That’s what someone asked me in an email the other day. He said that he could find all kinds of information about horse racing, but very little about dog racing.

“I want to know when there are stakes races, handicapping contests and big carryovers. Picks would be nice too, although I doubt there’s anyone giving out greyhound picks on the net,” he wrote.

Well, as a matter of fact, he – and you – can get all this information, plus links to much more information about greyhound racing at Trackinfo. Trackinfo is the best source of anything to do with greyhound racing.

What I like about it is that it gives daily updates, so I don’t miss things, which I tend to do if there’s too much time between when I read them and when they happen. For instance, there are stakes races coming up this weekend that I don’t want to miss.

At Orange Park, they’ll be running the second leg of the James J. Patton Silver Cup Stakes on Friday night. If you saw the first round, you’ll remember that only one race was won by the favorite, making it a very interesting and contentious contest. At Palm Beach Kennel Club on Saturday, they’ll be holding the final of the $50K James W. Paul Derby.

If you play the dogs, you really should put Trackinfo in your bookmarks and check it daily. I do.
